I think everyone has their favorite childhood ice cream parlor.
I still remember Fernwood's up in S.L.C., Utah. My Mother loved all the memories we shared, she bought all the chairs when they closed their doors. As I think back, it wasn't just the ice cream. It was the smell of chocolate sauce dripping down the sides of the parfait glass. Those extra sprinkles, that would find themselves bouncing off the table and down to the floor. So many details I can vividly remember.
Our 3 hour class will be filled with painting with acrylics on canvas, as the children learn scale and dimension.
Our favorite part of the day will be making our own ice cream sundae in those same parfait cups we used as children. It seems my bought more than just the chairs.
To keep our summer class tradition going, have your your kids bring lunch and a swimsuit for the last bit of our time.
We can't wait to see all your children. We have been missing them.
